Yes. Members in good standing with the Association may lease their unit, subject to the community’s leasing and membership transfer requirements.
The minimum lease is 30 days or one month, whichever is less. Short stays below that minimum are not permitted under the supplied leasing rule.
A unit cannot be leased more than 12 times within any 12 month period.
Submit the proposed lease and required membership transfer paperwork to the Association at least 15 days before the lease begins.
An administrative transfer fee applies. The linked March 2025 application lists $150 as nonrefundable; confirm the current amount with the Association.
How amenity access works: Membership use and common area amenity rights transfer to the renter during the lease. The owner’s amenity access is suspended and the owner’s Member IDs are deactivated for that period. The renter must follow the community rules and complete the transfer process.
How to prepare the lease packet
Start early so the paperwork can reach the association before the 15 day deadline.
Set the lease dates
Make sure the proposed term meets the 30 day or one month minimum and the home has not exceeded 12 leases in a 12 month period.
Gather the documents
- Completed and signed membership transfer and lease application
- Executed lease agreement
- Government issued identification for the primary transfer member and spouse, as applicable
- Required transfer fee
Submit and follow up
Send the packet to the Tucker’s Cove POA at least 15 days before the start date. The application notes that, after subassociation approval, the application is submitted to the Babcock Ranch HOA portal. Confirm the current steps and payment instructions with the association.
Get the lease application
Review the official form, checklist, signatures and submission instructions before you advertise lease dates.
The linked form is marked revised March 19, 2025. It lists a $150 nonrefundable transfer fee and a $25 transponder cost for permanent vehicles. Association fees and procedures can change; use the current form and confirm amounts before submitting.
