Yes, you will have a power bill. While Babcock Ranch is known for its large solar field, that solar power supports the community’s shared infrastructure such as street lighting and public facilities. It does not eliminate your personal electric bill. As a homeowner, your property operates on the standard power grid, and you will receive a monthly bill from Florida Power and Light unless you install solar panels directly on your home.

The total number of homes will roughly be 2,200 based on the current master development plan and may adjust slightly as phases are finalized. Should You Use a Realtor When Buying New Construction?
Between the Master HOA and Tuckers Cove HOA covers lawn care, landscaping maintenance, internet service, common area upkeep, and amenity operations once they are complete. It is designed to maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the community. However, utilities such as water and electricity, interior home maintenance, and homeowner insurance are not included.
What Does the HOA Actually Cover?
The combined Master HOA and Tuckers Cove HOA fees cover exterior lawn service, landscaping upkeep, community common areas, included internet service, and the operation of amenities once they are fully completed. The purpose of these dues is to preserve the appearance, consistency, and overall functionality of the neighborhood.
What is not included are your personal utilities such as water and electricity, any interior maintenance or repairs inside your home, and your homeowner’s insurance policy.
